Birdlife
- Birdwatching around
Ribe
Birdlife The birdlife in the Wadden Sea area around Ribe is truly impressive. In addition to serving as a “pantry” for the migratory birds, the area also constitutes a breeding area for a large number of species, including several rare and endangered species. Especially the Wadden Sea island Mandø is a true paradise for birdwatching enthusiast. Even while you are travelling to Mandø with the Mandø-bus it is a good idea to keep a shape lookout. If you cycle or walk around the island, particularly in the migration- and breeding season, you will see many birds – both within the dikes and on the foreland.
